Garth Nicholson was affected by Gulf War Syndrome thru an infection acquired by his daughter serving in the Gulf War. He founded the Institute for Molecular Medicine. This focus is on mycoplasmal infections which are treated by antibiotics. The family of antibiotics (tetracyclines) used are known to also decrease coagulation.
