  Bromelain  is an extract from pineapple stem.

Major increase of the herxheimer reaction when taken with antibiotics (because of improve penetration of antibiotics).

Benefits:

• Increased penetration of antibiotics , tetracyclines

Risks:

• A salicylate (some people may react to it), if so: use serrapeptase instead
• If you are allergic to bee stings -- do not use
